Promoting the certification programme

SPCA manages a certification programme which provides assurance of animal welfare standards in farming operations.

For food producers it is a way to provide quality assurance for shoppers and help set their brand apart from less ethically farmed alternatives.

Despite having a sound operation and quality of regulation the Certification standard was not recognised amongst the shopping public.

Energi developed an advertising campaign to inform the public about the certification standard and also help build confidence in the programme with participating companies.

The Outcome
Awareness for the SPCA Certified increased and support for the programme grew amongst programme members.
