Kronenbourg was not on the consideration set for premium beer drinkers in NZ.
It had no relevance to consumers and they did not understand its heritage. Our brief was to align Kronenbourg as the beer of France through Frances national French day, or Bastille Day. We achieved this using vibrant pallet displays that commanded floor space and brought to life the historic French day and gave Kronenbourg personality, heritage, provenance and most importantly relevance to New Zealanders. The result was a 460% increase in sales during the promotional period.
